Ongoing Freshness and Content Refresh

Monthly updates to your existing library so older posts keep earning citations instead of going stale.

Short answer: Every month we revisit two to three older articles and bring them current: new data, updated quotes, and direct-answer blocks re-tuned to the questions buyers are asking now. Generative engines prefer sources that look maintained, so a library that is actively updated keeps compounding while a static one slowly stops being cited.

Why freshness matters more in AI search than in classic search

A classic index can keep serving an old page indefinitely if the links are strong enough. An assistant assembling an answer is far more sensitive to whether a source appears current, because stating outdated facts is a visible failure for the model.

That makes maintenance a ranking input rather than housekeeping. Content that is never revisited quietly loses the citations it once earned.

  • Two to three posts refreshed every month
  • New statistics substituted as better-sourced figures become available
  • Direct-answer blocks rewritten as buyer questions shift
  • Internal links updated so new posts strengthen older ones

How we choose what to refresh

Refresh candidates come out of visibility scanning: posts that used to get cited and no longer do, posts targeting a query where a competitor has overtaken you, and posts containing figures that now have a newer published source.

Questions about ongoing freshness & refresh

Do refreshed posts change URL?
No. We update in place so the existing URL keeps whatever authority it has accumulated. Changing the URL would discard that.
Is refresh work instead of new articles, or on top?
On top. The monthly cadence of six to eight new articles is separate from the two to three refreshes.
